We are looking for a great person, who enjoys his or her chosen field; who is enthralled by pictures, fonts, and colors; who doesn’t tire of trial and error; who isn’t afraid of making mistakes; and who has the courage to pipe up and ask questions. An individual, who absorbs information from everything that he or she sees around themselves; from everything, amid which he or she lives and breathes. Someone, who is able to find a thousand words, signs, or symbols for a single word.
The designer’s work
We work on workdays and rest on days off. In the morning, we start at 9, or by 10 o’clock at the latest. Aside of work, we sit down for coffee, chat, listen to music, and better the world. We’ve tried to create the type of work environment, where we all feel good – that’s when good ideas come as well. We think with our heads and shape our ideas with our computers. Your main weaponry includes the Pencil, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Additionally, we’re always glad when someone has the skills to do something compelling – whether it be baking; photography; playing board games, guitar, or football; writing poetry; crafting; dancing; painting; reading; or speaking foreign languages. And of course, speaking Estonian is counted as an extra advantage.
Why do we do all of this?
Actual benefit for the customer must arise from our work. It is a component of the economy: cruel, applicable psychology that can be measured in money and helps to predict, plan, anticipate, and direct consumer behavior. To the customer, we are a partner in a definite niche – marketing. We are familiar with this area best of all, are up to date with what is happening in the world, and analyze dangers and opportunities with common sense.
The people who have come together at Rakett previously worked at international advertizing chains, which bear names of global fame. In addition to our cheerful daily grind, we have joint undertakings, trips, and traditions. We fit into a spaceship-shaped office with a sweeping view on Tõnismägi – directly at the crossing point of central Tallinn’s arteries.
All of the money that we share, we acquire from our dear customers. With this money, we pay salaries and state taxes, buy software and invest in our company’s development. Thus, the greater these amounts are, the more beneficial we are capable and able to be for our customers.
Help us out by sending us examples of your earlier finished projects. If we feel that something good for both you and Rakett might come out of working jointly, then we’ll invite you over. We’ll have a chat and introduce the people, with whom you’ll start spending the greater part of your waking hours. Feel free to also shoot us questions about everything Rakett.
